For one of our clients we are searching for an experienced Shift Supervisor (Asst. Construction Superintendent) for a Heavy Lift Construction Vessel to work in a regular 5 weeks on/off (+/-1week) rotation. Embarkation. Vessel is currently working in Taiwan and is engaged in the OWF construction project. QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum 3 years of experience as Assistant Construction Superintendent or Shift Supervisor REQUIREMENTS: BOSIET + CAEBS Full GWO BST Full COVID-19 vacc certificate Below is an advantage: - LOLER - Banksman St. 4 SHORT DESCRIPTION OF FUNCTION: The Assistant Construction Superintendent is assisting the Construction Superintendent and is responsible for performance of offshore project/construction operations in a successful, safe, efficient and profitable manner. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Proactively contribute to the safety regime on the vessel • Carry out other related tasks when required by management. • To be conversant with all terms and conditions of the contract, both technically and commercially, and have complete understanding of the offshore part of its Scope of Work. • To liaise with the offshore representative of the Client, and ensuring good working relations offshore with the Client. • To ensure implementation of the Project Quality Plan and HSE Plan applicable to offshore operations and overall compliance with the the company Quality Program. • To advise the Superintendent in establishing the offshore team, and to supervise the offshore team. • To advise the construction team in development and implement Job Safety Risk Assessments. To document and circulate appropriately all vital decisions taken offshore. Copies of such documents shall always be sent to the Superintendent/Project Manager. • To apply, through the Superintendent/Project Manager, for authorization for all deviations required from applicable standard company practice, rules and regulations, when offshore operational requirements call for such deviations. • Direct/guide subcontractors. • To ensure that offshore Quality requirements are effectively carried out during operations and to take prompt corrective actions in response to non-conformance reports from any offshore team member. • To ensure that offshore Safety and Quality Audits can be performed as smoothly as possible and to take prompt corrective actions when called for by Audit Reports. • To ensure establishment of, and approve for distribution, all reports from the offshore unit to the Project Office.
