We are looking for Master with minimum 3 years experience as Pilot/Docking Pilot/Mooring. At lease 5 years experience on Container vessels. Ship handling experience. Fluent English language, Spanish would be preferred but not obliged. Areas of responsibility may from time to time include any or all of the following: - Overall pilotage supervisory control for terminal operational needs. - Determining of favourable conditions for ship docking and undocking activities. - Instructing tugs and line boats during ship docking activities. - Documenting ship arrival and departure information. - Supervision of other contracted pilots to ensure efficient and safe operations. - Providing port information & movements to vessel masters. - Keeping records for all vessels using Terminal Facilities and records for traffic department. - Assisting in update of marine related regulations and vessel documentation. - Monitoring and enforcing safe working practices of Marine employees and contractors. - Responsible for training new marine pilots and mooring masters. - Responsible for providing advice to the Marine Manager and terminal management. - Document near misses, injuries, incidents and accidents both environment and operational that occur during harbour movement activities. - Assist with incident investigations as directed by Marine Manager and/or Terminal Management. - Attend regular vessel traffic meetings with operations personnel.
