POSITION: CHIEF COOK REPORTING TO: Catering Manager REPORTING TO THE POSITION:  Cook  Laundry Man  “Mess” Steward SHORT DESCRIPTION OF FUNCTION: Carry out of all galley activities KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:  proactively contribute to the safety regime on the vessel  Carry out other related tasks when required by management.  Serve meals with an excellent taste. SHIP LEVEL OF RESPONSIBILITY:  Operational level. AUTHORITY: Those resulting from the above description of duties. INTERFACE WITH: 1. Crew. 2. Visitors, Clients. 3. Liaise with those necessary to comply with this job description. QUALIFICATIONS:  As per applicable Offshore Integrated Training Matrix
